The property is bright and beautiful and can be a place to relax all day by the gorgeous pool, or explore the local villages and countryside. Matera is a 50 minute drive. Food here was great - all local produce cooked perfectly. We will be back!"

"Hotel and golf course stay was great, very out of the way place but staff (Enzo) made it a great stay taking care of everything. Course is in good shape but greens are a bit slow. Course knowledge is key here and my golf app helped a lot. Staff are all great and helpful "

"As everyone has said previously on this site, the staff really make this hotel. They are very helpful and friendly; nothing is too much bother for them. They helped to find us when we got lost in the town on arrival, they arranged a taxi to come and get us off the hill opposite (thankfully there is a car park at the top as there was no way I was making it back on foot!). Just lovely people. The room was also fab. It had everything. The bathroom mirror was heated, which was welcome in the...

"Staff at the hotel were great. We stayed 2 nights and it was very hot. Unfortunately the air con can’t cool the old building when it is this hot. So room was quite warm. Staff provided fans. Also jacuzzi pool is not complementary. Lovely old building though, easy to find etc. "
