I normally stay I Fiuminicio when I'm flying in and out of Rome. Even though the airport hotels are here, this is a walkable town with local seafood resaurants and a dramatic pier. It's a great welcome and sendoff in either case.

Lots of seafood restaurants but not much selection for vegetarians. A lovely path and cycle lanes next to the beach.

Plenty of restaurants. Beaches looked nice - although it was February so we didn't get in the sea!

This is a quaint fishing town with ancient history that has only changed over the decades, as was absolutely necessary. Truly charming - But stay away from Academy Hotel

We got in late and had a chance to walk to a pizza place nearby at night and the seaside town feels very safe at night.

This hotel is within 2 blocks of the beach for a wonderful afternoon stroll. There are nine private rooms, a beautiful courtyard, minimalist style decor, and 10 minutes from the airport. An inhouse restaurant is available with a free breakfast.
"Great hotel in a great position. Marta on reception was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, giving us some great suggestions to make the most of our 3 days. Highly recommended."
"Beautiful hotel!!! Rooms were amazing, cozy and warm! We were celebrating our honeymoon and the Starhotel did not disappoint. The area was safe and offered various opportunities for sightseeing, dining and shopping. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely come again!"
" Very good hotel with free laundry room, a section with pool and ping pong tables. Restaurant was actually good. Also there is a walking section with lounge tables that was nice
Felt safe in the hotel. Only drawback is the area around the hotel is not nice so we usually took taxis. However I recommend this hotel."
"I liked this place so much the first time I stayed after my flight to Italy, I booked it again for the night before my flight out. Perfect all around, great location, clean, modern, comfortable beds and strong AC. Staff is absolutely excellent, helpful and accommodating. I will always stay here when I come back to Rome, this experience was absolutely fantastic! "
