Lots of history to uncover. Museums and art galleries free. There's lots of self guided walks or vary reasonably priced walking tours. There are several Museums with three together in the Museum Quarter. Marina is beautiful. There's a Comedy Lounge.

Some lovely things to do: galleries, eating and drinking, marina, theatre, the minster - had a great weekend! But some parts of the city are bleak - too many shopping malls so that old town streets are not thriving. Shame.

Lots of history and investment in rejuvenating the city. Mixture of beauty and deprivation, which has a feeling of hope and a future ahead.

Looks a fantastic place for shopping, eating out and having a glass of wine by the quayside
"Lovely quiet room if a bit dark.
Only interaction with staff was at check in and out as our room was along the road from the main building. This was different from a normal hotel stay but made it seem more that we were in our own apartment as a local, which was wonderful.
Good size room and bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Small park across from the building and a friendly local pub at the end of the road.
All in all a lovely relaxing stay."
"Hotel was lovely, very clean and comfy bed, nice hot full English breakfast, tea coffee and toast, staff were all very friendly, would highly recommend this hotel, "
