There are plenty of things to do and see in the area, not just wineries, but of course a car is needed. We were fortunate to have a local host take us to many beaches, light houses, trails, wineries and other attractions over three days.

"We were heading to Margaret River to follow our footy team and decided to make a long weekend of it and stay for a couple of nights.
The weather was wet and very cold, but the Grande Escape turned out to be an excellent spot to stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, with very comfy beds.
We headed to the restaurant at night and enjoyed a great meal and then sat by the toasty open fire and had a nightcap.
The Resort is located about 2 minutes drive out of town and is set amongst beautiful trees and has a lovely pool.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably repeat it next year."
"Really loved my long weekend here! Rooms are huge and kitchen is such a fab bonus along with the sitting room! Was great to be so close to everything as I was on my own! Lovely staff, super friendly and motel was clean and tidy! I will stay again for sure!!"
