There are several hotels in that immediate area which is right by a mall as well as plenty of places to eat. It is also right by the college which will be helpful for parents of students graduating from there. Their downtown has nice restaurants too.

Traffic was insane but fortunately, the many backroads around the area made it totally manageable. Plenty of entertainment, dining and conveniences like Starbucks.
