If you're into wine it's great. If not, it's hot and expensive with a lot of drinkers and wine everywhere. If want outdoors or coast or sights, you can do better for price and convenience.

Cute town. We'd never been there, came for a wedding in Sebastopol so it was just a 20 minute drive to the venue. The area in general was nice, there's a market in walking distance as well as fast food, gas, and some sit down restaurants.

It's more a wine jumping off place than a normal town. Groceries and such are not as easy as other places, lot of people, if don't like wine, it gets old. Otherwise, not bad. Safe, right on 101.

The only downside is the traffic. Lots of it due to rush hours but that's any town with plenty of work. Other than that, close to wineries, beaches, and great hiking trails!

Wine tasted in dry creek so the location was excellent and the price was good. Windsor has a cute downtown and nice breakfast place.

Pho and Mary's Pizza Shack are my favorites in town. Clean town with plenty to enjoy on your trip. Wineries etc.

It is very unusual to not have wifi available for free, especially in an area where cell signal is also weak.

It is a short Uber to Russian River Brewing. Well worth checking that out.
"This is a lovely spot. They have 3 pools of varying temps. They are outside but there is an awning giving you shade. We found our stay relaxing overall. "
