Wat Si Souman is just one of the landmarks located 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from central Vang Vieng, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip.
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Kaeng Nyui Waterfall during your travels in Vang Vieng. Stroll along the area's riverfront or simply enjoy its bars.

Advice is to hire a motorbike or Tuk Tuk driver for the day and get outside of the main area of Vang Vieng

Not just for the young but pick your hotel well. We went as a self organised 2 day side trip from our week in Luang Prabang .As we did the kayaking trip which started up river where blissfully peaceful and visited a cave, we felt was well worth it.

Plenty of things to do for all ages, masses of adventurous activities all at very reasonable prices but also fine for people who just want to relax.

The city itself, after coming from Luang Prabang, was not that attractive and was much larger and busy. However, just across the river from the hotel, on this amazing rickety old bridge, was open countryside, rice paddies, the iconic hills etc
"Amazing!
Staff are incredible!
Great food!
Great views!
Clean room and property grounds well taken care of.
Had to add one more night due to rains/floods. During which staff was extremely helpful navigating my travels due to cancellations.
Highly Recimmend!"
"We stayed for four nights and were upgraded to a Deluxe room which is 32m2 (same size as classic) on the ground level with pool view and outside seating area. Very comfortable king bed, small sitting area and a large bathroom. Shower is in bath, so may not suit everyone.
Pool is very refreshing. There are about 22 sun lounges and we never had a shortage during our 4 nights stay. Very serene views of the river and limestone mountains in the background make it a very relaxing place to cool off after a day out and about.
Breakfast is buffet style with egg station. Plenty of options to suit most people with different menu items each day. Fresh juices were great, never had avocado before but it was my favourite. Veth and Yurr (trainee) looked after us with great care and attention. We were never short of freshly brewed coffees, teas or water. Used plates were cleared frequently and quickly.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.
