I constantly forgot I was in Chitwan as the hotel was so much more gorgeous and beautifully designed than many 5 star hotels in the big cities. You could tell the owner has great taste and aesthetics.
Every detail in the room and the yard were well thought of: Nice little plants in room; Plenty of trees around room to provide privacy, and a gorgeous view when you look up from the hammock.

The staff was overall friendly, but some off the staff were not so welcoming or good at giving information - maybe just shy. Like when we checked in, there was no "welcome" or small talk, and no info on breakfast time or that you had to leave your key to get the room cleaned. The service was very good, we got our breakfast and packed lunch in time and a ride to the bus stop when we were leaving.
Would stay here again if I ever go...

"Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be.
Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms...

"The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. ...
