"Upon arrival we were upgraded to another room because of a party which took place during our stay in the building which we booked. The thing is that it was not a real upgrade as we were moved to a room on the fourth floor with no elevator with steps inside the room which was not what we wished for.
Anyway, the hotel is not new which is pretty noticeable. No elevators (even for 4th floor), room had some strange old smell and there was no WiFi signal in the room.

The only downside of it was the bathroom: toilet did leak water all night, making a big noise and not being able to fill up the tank. Therefore we had to fill up a plastic bag with water and flush the toilet. The rest was ok

Room was noisy at tines with main villa door being shut and people coming in and out also dog being left in next door room. The restaurant staff didn’t speak English. They literally made us feel like we were family staying in their home. I would absolutely book this again and hope to book soon! Highly recommend and can’t say enough good things! And if you want an original Romanian experience and not some bougee accommodations this is it! Even our 13 year old loved it! "

"Great place, far from the world, with a great view on Mount Omu. Spa and pool are great as well (even if we shared them with a family with awful kids...). Cocktail with a view, great dinner with a view, and amazing breakfast with a view.
The only thing was that we booked for 3 with our 6-year-old daughter who had no bed because considered as "sleeping with parents in a king size bed". We should have booked an extra-bed... which was not mentionned neither by Hotels.com nor the hotel.
