We really enjoyed touring the grounds and home at Green Gables plus learning about the author L.M. Montgomery. There's a nice overlook of the beach and cliffs a short distance north of the town area.

Cavendish was lovely surrounded by farms harvesting potatoes and corn. The only drawback was that nothing was open anymore (in October). So we couldn't pop out for a coffee. They even shut off the street lights in October.

Restaurants and attractions shut down very soon after labor day. Not much available for meals during the week
"We adored our stay. We really enjoyed how safe the property is and we can watch our kids play on the playground from the cottage. Very clean and beautiful property, including family pool and adult only spa area. We enjoyed the sunsets and the movie nights as well. "

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I didnt get two of thwm that were help. A woman who checked us in and a man who helped with extra coffee and batteries for a dead remote. I did meet Gloria? Upon checkout. She said they would be more than happy to have us back and we will be back soon. "
