Lafayette is a wonderful destination. We have been going for over 16 years to the Festival International. The food is wonderful and the people so friendly. The culture and history are evident and then there is the fresh crawfish, crabs and shrimp!

Ask Donelle! She'll tell you what's up. Vermillionville is beautiful and the Rip van Winkle plantation restaurant is a lovely place to eat outside by the water.

Although the road to parking feels run down, the convenience of being right off I-10 is part of Lafayette. It not a vacation town but full of good food, local shops, and plenty of culture!
