I love Oviedo. A beautiful and easily walkable city, full of restaurants and coffee shops, and a beautiful old town. You will find little or no English here...I think most tourists were other Spaniards.

A beautiful and elegant town. So much history in such gorgeous surroundings. A little spoiled by the awful Gascona St...avoid...so easy to walk around and some lovely cafes. The shopping was interesting too

This is a small town but for a long weekend you can get the train into Gijon which is just 30 mins away. Trains run every hour on the C1 train line.
