I grew up near Burlington, but never spent any time there. It surprised and delighted me to see it's old, river city charm preserved with boutique shopping and friendly staff, therein. I'm definitely coming back to visit!

Much love for this community on our first visit. Old fashion displays of respect for our procession to the cemetery. People stopped driving and stood still as we drove by. One man with his hat over his heart far off standing in a parking lot.

The wonder starts with the magnificent bridge and continues into the downtown area.

West Burlington area was a good quiet area to enjoy a relaxing weekend.
"The staff we encountered were a great crew!! Very friendly and accommodating!! The hotel is under remodeling but we didn’t encounter any obstacles or noise.
My suggestions for making this a 5 stars -
The bathroom area needs a couple of towel bars. There was only a double hook on the door.
A little landscape maintenance is needed.
A quick vacuum in stairways to show off that new carpet.
If in the area - would certainly suggest to anyone to book a room here!!"
"Convenient location. I like that there is entertainment nearby as the casino is really the only thing going on in town. The rooms are clean and updated. "
