Great city many local events, restaurants, and coffee shops. It's got a decent diversity of things to experience while not as rambunctious as a bigger city like Chicago

We went to the zoo on our 1st day and it was a nice visit. For dinner we went to Charlie's at Sunset Cove in East Peoria & the atmosphere outside was so beautiful! My husband & I both had the Tenderloin, tater tots & fries. It was all fantastic!

Bass Pro Shops was a nice place to spend time before the softball game we were attending in Peoria. The Riverside Museum was nice. We really enjoyed their shark exhibit.

I would say coming from Chicago, the prices were reasonable for dinning, shopping and entertainment.

I'd love to give Peoria an Excellent as I was born and raised there but the city has become a little rough and the first hotel as you drive in looks unkept. An eyesore next to a Courtyard. The Courtyard could use a Refresh too

Hotel is located conveniently if you are visiting in the North area of the city. Is close to the freeway as well if you need to travel to the Northwest area of the city.

Such a nice city too visit. The city leaders are making an effort to revitalize and keep business'
"Customer service was amazing. The whole staff was very friendly and informative. I didn't like the maze/obstacle course from the parking garage to the main lobby. Also, thought it strange the pull out bed was sticking straight up out of the couch. It made me think we were in someone else's room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again."
"While our stay was satisfactory. There seems to be a major issue between (individual or entire staff) staff and general manager of this facility. This was raised to us customers by a letter in an envelope placed under residence doors. Marriott leadership should investigate this incident. Staff claims GM is very abusive to all staff."
