Laundry facilities could be upgraded as irons needed bases cleaned. Room was clean. Tea/coffee satchets were minimal in room. Also, no spare toilet rolls and we were staying a week...had to ask a few times for extras.
Otherwise, it is situated in a great spot close to transport, and having City Square Mall a 3 min walk away was so handy .

"This hotel is a good budget option if you already had been in Singapore before and just need a quick layover option transferring to/from the cruise or to/from Changi airport. Our room was rather cosy, but very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and efficient getting our to-go breakfast bags and ordering our taxi at 5:30 in the morning. "

"I had to book this hotel last minute from Canada for my daughter who was in Singapore. I actually called the front desk at midnight their time and they were so helpful and although they couldn't beat expedia prices they waited on the phone while I booked everything through Expedia - my daughter arrived a few minutes after I booked and said the place and the people were just amazing. Their balcony looked over a soccer pitch and they loved that. I would recommend for sure. I was really impressed...

This hotel is located in an excellent areas of Singapore where tourists can find good food from budget to high standard seafood restaurants in Geyland.
We did enjoy our short stay with 81 hotel Palace in Geyland. We highly recommend this hotel to tourists who look for a very good budget hotel on Singapore. "

"Prefer this Mercure over Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, this location is a bit further out, however, catching a Grab is relatively inexpensive and you can always use pubic transport. The room is much larger than the City Centre place, lots of hawker markets and local restaurants. Overall a good experience "
