"The breakfast buffet was excellent. The head chef, Jan, did a terrific job. We also had a cooking class with Jan and Guide. It was very fun. We had a room with a swim out pool and it was very nice. The pool was an oasis. It was always clean and cool enough to be refreshing. We had a swim up bar. Ann was the bartender and we really appreciated her. She was quick and accommodating. The staff in all of the resort was so polite and friendly. We loved our stay at Sawasdee. "

"Kata for sure is a great hotel. Staff were amazing But they became very stingy with extra charges for my daughter even though the huge suite that I reserved was for three people. I didn’t like the way they managed our situation even though I mentioned this is my 30th anniversary and try to make fine for us. This issue really bothered us. "

"Everything was as expected but starting to do construction a floor above at 9am was a bit uncalled for. At least wait u til 11am and check out time to make it fair, i wasnt checking out but was hoping for a sleep in. "as far as accommodations in Kata Beach, it is a great value. it's only a short walk to the beach and it has plenty of parking which parking is hard to find in Kata. 15 minute taxi ride to Patong Beach. very family friendly and not crowded like Patong Beach. definitely better for families."

"Booked the family poolside suite. Was amazing. Three beds (one very large and two small). The beds were so soft and comfy, but they could give a few more pillows (small minor thing) for us that love pillows. The pool was always amazingly clean. The hallways were constantly being tended to by staff. Everyone was very nice and polite. If you want the room changed/cleaned you need to ask. We were not aware of that but they cleaned it last minute for us anyways (probably off the clock. Such nice...
