"We had a great stay. Staff were all lovely and really helpful. If you stay with kids you can tell they go the extra mile to make sure the kids are happy. We stayed over the baking hot busy bank holiday weekend. The pool and air conditioning were much appreciated."

"There was not good communication about the size of the room. This was listed as suitable for 6 people and it certainly was not. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, the adults not in pairs. But we were willing to push through for one night. The other problem was an inadequate amount of linen. We needed more towels and blankets/sheets. I called Samantha to ask about additional linen and her response was not what I expected. She asked if we were cold because the room was adequately warm and we’d be fine...

"We stayed the night before our cruise. Location was convenient to the port and the entire hotel staff was outstanding. Communication was helpful prior to our arrival with the Heathrow transportation options as well as suggesting their on-site restaurant which was very good. I would definitely return to this hotel when visiting Southampton."
