"Very peculiar set up. Didn't feel entirely safe for 3 women travellers."

"Excellent choice for pre or post cruise out of Southampton. There were 4 of us. We had a room with 2 bedrooms, king size bed in one and 2 twins in the other. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. We used Uber to get around. 10 out of 10 recommend!"

"On site parking is always a bonus and here there was a choice, including between a forecourt space, a rear car park or in a garage. Initially difficult to get in as I didn’t have the email with the code, but super helpful staff quickly sorted that and the room was clean and spacious with a fully fitted bathroom. Locally, lovely pub (the Dog & Dick) at the end of the road which does food, great beer & live sports. Close to the city and near a main bus route."

"Was warmly welcomed by the owner, Kara, after I debarked from Royal Caribbean and walked from City cruise terminal. She let me leave my luggage and return to check in. There was no lift, but her husband was kind to bring my bag up to my room before I returned. Room was comfortable and a continental breakfast was included. Stayed two nights before getting on my next cruise. Will stay again! "
