"This hotel is a bit tucked away. You'll need to walk a bit or take a train or a bus if you're planning to do anything in central Paris. But that's a feature and not a flaw for me. The room is clean, has air conditioning and there's a small elevator which in some places can be rare. It's lovely here, I'll be back!"

"This was my second stay at Simon's Boutique Hotel this year (8 days, 3 days). I can't wait to go back. Everything was super clean. The bed was comfortable, and I always sleep well. I am 80 years old. It is so close to the Gare du Nord, too. The Marx Dormoy metro stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel."

"A occasion and experience that are hard to beat for the $price. 109 feet from Paris’ Gate du Nord International station the hotel is quirky, fun, bright and exciting. But not hip at the expense of service, kindness, attentiveness & customer service. The medium room with a balcony was breathtaking! Not huge but cleverly designed & decorated. It’s very quiet at night—& the housekeeping staff was great too. Loved the 12 pm checkout! A really fun stay if you want to be adjacent to the Gare du Nord. "

"Receptionist during check-in was very friendly, with a professional approach. I had stayed at this place many years. At that time I was totally disgusted with dirty carpet in the main hall (downstairs) and the hallways. But this time, there was a big change. The floors were very clean and the surroundings didn't look as dodgy as before. Even the security guy was friendly. I'm not sure if there's a change of management. Good job! Be aware that there's a 100 euros deposit to be paid at check-in,...

"Budget-priced hotel, in excellent condition. The room was very clean and large enough for two people. A short walk to the Metro, then 20 minutes to the city centre. Fairly good neighbourhood with a supermarket near the hotel."
