"We enjoyed staying at the Aldeia. The small children had a great time running around and swimming in the pool. The adults enjoyed the quiet surroundings. The property is well run by the staff, especially Hannah who was available to provide what we needed. It will be great when the restaurant and gym are restarted. It was quite hot during the day without aircon or a fan, but thankfully it cooled down quite a lot in the evenings so having a window open was fine. Seems like the bungalows have 2 sun loungers on each shaded balcony so having an afternoon snooze was also possible. There was a shop onsite which is very convenient. There is a bus stop outside going to/from the beach and Lagos, or you can walk to the Luz beach in about 20-30 minutes. It...

"We have stayed in Baia before and the complex is excellent. Sadly this apartment was not serviced by the complex and was a private rental via DreamAlgarve. We were not impressed with this company. Firstly the key pick up was a hassle. You have to collect the key from their office in Lagos at 4pm. There was a queue out the door with all the people waiting to pick up keys for DreamAlgarvea various properties We were only given one Keycard and for an active family of 4 this was no use. We had to...

"After checking in and receiving directions to this apartment, the staff member admitted they had never been to this rental before and couldn’t give us better or more specific instructions. It took us a while to find and once we did, we couldn’t park at the building because the lot required a parking code we didn’t receive. No problem we were only passing through for one night so we parked at the lot behind it and carried our suitcases because rolling them wasn’t possible due to the streets...

"Apartment was awesome. We had the two bedroom with a sea view. Excellent views from all 4 balconies! Bar area was modern and spacious. It was nice to have an outdoor and indoor children’s play area….well organized, great variety of toys and child bathroom right there. The pool area was large with a little wading area. It wasn’t cold to use that day though. Grounds were well maintained. "
