"There are a few things you should know before you book. This property is nice. We had a good stay, but immediately upon arrival you will realize that there are many rules to abide by or you will lose your deposit. It became a running joke between all of us during our stay. We were actually very careful to try to do everything correctly so that we would not lose the deposit. We took very good care of the home. The day after checkout i recieved an email explaining that we had broken the rules and...

"Our stay was wonderful! The shower was such that we wanted to take it home. The home cooked breakfast was superb!!! The staff was friendly and helpful! The only downside was the amount of construction that infiltrated the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to San Antonio."

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Valencia. The room was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated that it was in the quieter section of the Riverwalk but just steps away from all the festivities. The bartenders were awesome in the evenings as were the breakfast staff at the restaurant in the mornings. Enjoyed everything about it. It will be our go-to San Antonio hotel from now on."

The rooms are cliché hotel rooms, and you notice the many layers of paint, yet they're meticulously clean. It was peaceful at night. Water temperature and pressure in the showers were wonderful, and everything was very clean and tidy. "
