I was offered a nice suite with kitchen on the high floor. The room was spacious and had all the equipment expected. It was very calm and there was no noise from road or in the neighborhood.
So, I had a relaxing night before an early morning flight.

"The room was very clean except for the occasional small roach. But the staff was exemplary. I got so much help from the staff Becca my Arabic speaking skills are so minimal and they helped me with restaurants, taxis and my search for a lawyer. Really, I cannot praise them enough. "

We prepaid for this hotel via Hotels.com. They did not offer our prepaid reservation, claiming that the price was too low. This I understand, and I was even willing to pay extra to make up for it. However, it’s how they handled the situation. We had an extra person visiting us, they were going to stay somewhere...

"An excellent hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were given our room at 7am, even though check in was 2pm. The pool is divine, beds super comfortable and huge beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommend as a relaxing stopover. Thank you to all their staff. "

"Golden Tulip Muscat is situated very near two very nice malls and easy access to the highways. The onsite restaurant provides very good meals for reasonable prices. I didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked very good with plenty of options. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and seating area with wonderful views of the ocean and surrounding city. The hum of the highway was somehow very soothing. Overall, we would recommend staying at the Golden Tulip Muscat."
