One night stay whilst at a local music gig (Jazz at the Lescar) for which the Psalter was convenient and very pleasant. Good value. Would stay again."

There was a smell from the toilet but we accepted this may be the case on a boat and we did eventually get used to it and not notice it. Would we stay here again …. A resounding yes "

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We like it a lot. The location is great for the city centre and also for getting to Meadowhall. It’s not far to walk to the universities so it’s great for open day visits. There’s also on-site parking for £15 per day. We particularly like having the convenience of breakfast included. Our stay was perfect."

"Great base for a short stay. Had been to see an act at Sheffield City Hall as well as see my daughter at uni there. Great central position. Not the owners fault, but as a single female could see how could be a little intimidated, two lads were sat legs out their window by the main entrance as I walked my daughter to friends around 11pm. "Great Staff. Property is a little dated but clean,tidy and friendly. Large rooms and a great location in it's own grounds with lots of free parking. A rare thing in Nether Edge. 20 min walk from the centre of Sheffield and a good bus service as well. Lots of great cafes nearby. What is not to like."
