"The hotel was located in a "rough" section of downtown BUT once you're inside the hotel and the room, it was very clean and well-maintained. The single bed room was very spacious, bathroom was clean and well stocked and the complimentary breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. Good job by everyone!"

"I loved my stay at the Mt. Vernon Inn. It's a unique, brightly decorated, reasonably priced hotel in a wonderfully convenient location in Baltimore. We stayed two nights and they were both lovely. Strong A/C was a blessing since it was up in the 90s both days and we were close to sweet neighborhood restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I absolutely LOVE the staircase. If my travels bring me back to Baltimore, I'm definitely coming back."
