"This is a beautiful and unique property on a hillside in Guayaquil. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a pool overlooking the city. The rooms and showers are really quirky and spacious. Delicious food is available for lunch and dinner on request. You do need to take a taxi or Uber to other parts of the city because it is isolated from urban neighborhoods. I stayed here for five nights while on a business trip and was so happy to have a tranquil retreat. "

"The Cedros inn is charming. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially if you keep kosher . The rooms were spacious and we loved walking right out onto a nice porch off the pool and quaint little outdoor space . A little oasis of nature and quiet with the city bustling right outside the walls. AC was great . My husband very much appreciated the conference room where he could get some work done . Thank you Cedros Inn for a wonderful weekend ."

"Check in is on the 18th floor with amazing view along with the pool, buffet and bar. It was easy and they gave us a room with large windows and a view of the river and city which was nice. Room was clean except when I pulled the bed sheets down there was a tag from some new clothes in the sheets and 2 flecks of black ??? We were just too tired to go back and ask for another room but I put that in a baggie and gave it to them upon check out, and my husband slept in that bed. Over all the hotel...

"Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included. Staff were very nice and friendly. The one thing was that there is no assigned parking, they allowed us to park in front of the hotel which was nice. Price very convenience ;) I would definitely come back again!!"

"I was not aware this was a "luxury" hostel until I arrived. There was no front desk staff, but there was a very helpful person available via WhatsApp. That person arranged shuttle transportation to and from the airport. The room had everything I needed for an overnight stay during a layover in Guayaquil. "
