Daily afternoon tea is provided as well with special drinks, different fruits and cakes. I have no hesitation to recommend Luxe Retreat to anyone who visits Lijiang! Remember to let hotel staff know when do you arrive Lijiang, as they offer free airport transfer upon arrival."

"First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient—it's just a few minutes' walk to Lijiang Ancient Town. You can enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient town while having a quiet environment for sleeping at night, and you won't have to take any unnecessary detours when exploring the town. "This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!"
