"We stayed 5 nights at Jouya and we loved it! Everything was clean and calm we could really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of ISHIGAKI. There are also several diving centers around the hotel and during the night we could see stars on night sky on the rooftop. Definitely recommend for people that want an authentic island experience. "My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"I really enjoyed this place and stayed here multiple times throughout my stay in Ishigaki. A close 10 min walk to the ferry and shopping area. Very clean rooms and lobby area. Coin laundry available, and has everything you need. Cozy bed and AC in the rooms. No elevator in case you’re not physically able to climb stairs with luggage, FYI. Staff was helpful and I got a great rate for around $30USD per night. I would 100% stay here again! "

"The hotel is very close to ferry and bus terminal (5-7 min) which is very convenient in case one have booked a tour starting from there. Personal is very helpful. The hotel title outside shows “Guest house” followed by Japanese characters (nothing mentions “Orihime” ) which could be confusing for not Japanese speakers. Likely the receptionist was outside and could confirm that I am at the right place."
