The inner Ise shrine is about 10 minutes from the hotel by car. We traveled by car and were happy with the free parking in the parking garage right next to the hotel. "Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The onsens are an additional nice touch. The downside is how far it is from the downtown area, but the shuttle makes that a non issue, also the bus drops you off right at the door. A convenience store nearby is also good if you need late night food."
