"The staff here are lovely: welcoming and helpful. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the waterfront, and there are lots of eating places en route. The decor and furniture in the rooms is dated, but I think this is appropriately reflected in the price. Each floor has a stuffed bookcase with a wide range of books which guests can borrow. "Rooms are dirty, plastering fallen off the ceiling, moldy bathroom. The cleaning is terrible, 4 staff, one empty the bin, one change the towel, one flush the toilet didn't even clean it and no vacuum done once when we stayed for 1 week. It took them 5 mins to complete a 2 bedrooms apartment. The aircon stop working and ice accumulated and the repairmen had to chopped off ice and full of mold came off from the aircon. There is no washing detergent and no sponge provided and it's supposed to be...
