"The hotel is simple but decent, located pretty close to waterfront and most places of interest are in walkable range from here. You can find bars, restaurants (the is a good breakfast restaurant right behind and the famous Ceylonese Restaurant next to it), 7-eleven. The was a slight funky smell in the shower and this could be improved. They also let us check in early which was nice bonus for us. "

"Had a lovely time here. Great location near the river and amenities. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Highlight was the chicken rice at breakfast. Delicious. "

"Hotel's generally all right and one of my favorites whenever I visit. But more can be done for the bathrooms. Second time here and i realized it needs improvements. The room smelled musty, and there was a huge black patch on the ceiling of the toilet with what i assume, is mould. Walls of the toilet weren't exactly clean as well. While it's a non window room and theres no other form of ventilation other than the bathroom vent, i think more effort could be spared to maintaining the bathrooms....

"The staff were friendly and awesome. Location was pretty near to waterfront and airport (approx RM10 by grab). Just one downside, there’s a Karaoke/pub at level 2 so some rooms got a free (off-key) lullabies from 10am to 2am but hey, I rather that than other noises. But it’s funny when this became a topic of conversations with other tourists staying at Citadine! "

"Very near to city centre easily walkable distance of 1 km to banks, ATM, restaurants, Small local supermarkets. Local taxis eg Grab, Maxim provides affordable transport instead of relying on buses. Free breakfast is of buffet type & value for money. Breakfast staff are very welcoming & ready to help should you need any. "

"If you want to stay in Kuching for visiting the different national park don't hesitate you can book the Woodpecker Lodge. Olivier is very friendly and helpful, he will take time to explain and to help you how to book your visit."

"Place2Stay claims three stars but it doesn't offer this quality of accomodation. The building is not well maintained, the rooms are a little shabby and the services are basic. Rooms are never cleaned during the stay, even for a longer stay, and the waste bins are never emptied. Please give your guests a broom and let they know that bottles are not to be thrown away in the room bins! It's definitely not good value, hardly two stars. But the location is great as a lot of good Kuching restaurants...
