The bartender and waiters were very helpful and kind. The people at reception were usually kind too, however rarely seemed to have solutions to our problems with the Wi-Fi and lack of water in the room on Day 3. Wi-Fi NEVER worked in our room- only the reception area and bar. It was the most expensive place on our trip but far from the best.
An incredible village way up in the mountains with amazing views and even more amazing service and food. Near Lake Plastiras it's a pure gem! Highly recommended!
This hotel is absolutely beautiful.. The views are stunning in themselves. However, the rooms are also so warmly/luxuriously decorated. You feel at home. Dora, the wonderful woman who runs this hotel, will accommodate you any way she can. Our breakfast spread was one of a European bistro, from crepes, to spinach pies, fresh OJ and coffee and so much more!!! If you're going to visit Karpenisi, this is the place to stay. Our room was very comfortable and included many amenities, including a balcony with an amazing view of Karpinisi. The breakfast, which was included, was exquisite and featured many different food options, all delicious. The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the town, which can be reached by the steps right outside the door. Parking was just outside the door....
Giamandes Hotel was a delightful surprise. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, especially the cappuccinos—smooth and bold. The town itself is a gem, with two stunning boutiques and excellent restaurants that made every meal memorable. I loved the peaceful vibe: dogs napping in the streets, locals warm and welcoming, and everything felt well cared for. The views? Absolutely gorgeous. A perfect blend of charm and serenity.
