"Very basic room but decent value for the area. Large bedroom & bathroom with high ceilings Furnished with old fashioned wardrobe, mirror, dressing table & chairs. In that respect the room was dated. That said it was spacious, clean, very quiet with nice view from the bedroom window, bed was comfortable, continental breakfast was fresh & varied. I would stay there again."

"This was an overnight stop from the Isle of Skye to the ferry at Cairnryan. No doubt the hotel is somewhat dated but what it made up for it with its great staff and lovely food (great pizzas for dinner and the full Scotch breakfast was perfect). Very

friendly and has a few charging points for EV's. Nothing much else to do in Crainlarich unless you are going hiking. Would ahve no hesitation staying here again."

"This is a nice place for a getaway in a beautiful place. Reasonably priced, acceptable quality, free parking. Probably often used to accommodate large groups of tourists, so breakfast (that was very good in itself) was more than crowdy for some 30+ minutes. Kitchen is open only until 9pm in the evening. The bartender recommended to visit a take-away next door to get some hot food. I was stupid enough to do so, only to discover that that the take-away was already closed. Perhaps this was a kind...

with us. Staff excellent, super friendly and accommodating. Hotel is comfortable and cozy and is a very old building which the owners are continuing to upgrade. Beautifully spacious and high ceilings with many period features. Breakfast was great too. Will definitely be back."

"We stayed in the 'Suite', a large room up a couple of steep flights of stairs. The climb is probably the only downside to the room. Large, clean, good sea view, comfortable bed. What's not to like. Good breakfast, easy to park outside on the street, quiet park of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Beautiful area to walk, cycle and explore at Loch Ard and Aberfoyle area makes it idea for either an active or relaxing...

"This is our 3rd stay at this property and were delighted to get a an upgraded room - it was big with a large couch and coffee table in addition to a double bed. It looked as if it had been recently upgraded. It had a great view of the hills and the car park was close to the main door. On the down side the room was directly above the bar which was very lively and there did not appear to be any sound proofing, however the noise stopped soon after 11pm. The bathroom was big with an over bath shower...
