"Best Place! We just cycled around Korea for 10 days and this was the best and most suprising place we stayed at. its in a really average location by a motorway. However the lady who runs it is a superstar. She called her daughter in Canada to help translate for us! The place is spotless. There are lots of little helpful details and little extras. "I’ve been a loyal guest for 20 years, but the unfriendliness of the hotel staff has remained unchanged. The front desk staff consistently behave like government officials. Even though the hotel was nearly empty today, they gave us twin beds instead of a double bed, despite our request, so we had to sleep apart like a separated family. There isn’t much to do around, and the golf practice range was filled with people smoking. However, Mount Taebaek and the hiking trails are undoubtedly among the best in the world. "
