It's right next to a shopping and food outlet area but I ate at the Marston's pub next door which has super friendly and efficient staff and a warm atmosphere. "We returned to Ye Olde Bell to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary having held our wedding reception there 25 years ago. It did not disappoint! Whilst it has been updated it still feels comfortable and retains the character it always had. "Wonderful stay - beautiful building and grounds and very helpful and pleasant staff who make you most welcome. Its wonderful that such a historical building is being saved for future generations to enjoy - local walks are lovely, and interesting to see the original buildings of the estate - ie Forge, Coach house, Farm, Barns etc still in use as delightfully renovated properties. If you play golf its an added bonus - golf course is amazing!!"
