"Our transfer was waiting for us so our holiday started good. The hotel is on the corner of the mall/agora which proved handy when shopping or eating, that the walk home was quick. It’s accessible to the port where a promenade walk is nice. The local bus service is good taking you to all local beaches which are Platis Gialos (cheaper) and Makris Gialos. It is a 40 walk from Skala but there is an excellent and cheap hotel shuttle and the walk itself was lovely."
