The Ionian Eye is the place to stay in Corfu. First of all a huge thank you to the extremely helpful staff and management who helped us to our entire satisfaction. They are so well organised and made our stay ever so pleasing. Then the views from the hotel are bewitching at dawn and sunset. The hotel is beautiful even had a little surprise balcony. The area is perfect the ferries are right across the street. They have restaurant markets and shopping all within walking distance. For the price I don't think it can get any better then this
It was our second stay. Everything was good. Except 3 issues. There should be more cups etc. In the kitchen available. Second issue is wifi that most of the time is very poor or doesn't work at all and it needs some upgrade.
And 3rd we decided not to use swimming pool this time, because it becomes basically public swimming pool. Entire neighborhood and people who doesn't stay at Avra coming to use the pool and when we arrived dog was swimming in the pool. It was quite discouraging to use the...
Truly a family run hotel and it shows, from the accommodation to the restaurant to the helpful staff it all felt homely and so beautiful. Dinner under the grape vines and the food was amazing. Our room was cute and neat and the staff took time to help with any request including giving ideas on how to spend our time in Corfu. Loved it and will definitely be back.
It takes a day or two to understand the spirit of the place, the various activities (so many) and where the food really shine the most (kids said Kuzina restaurant!).
Our children love the place, and were sad to leave.

We were welcomed like family, and treat with class during our 4 day stay. The view was incredible, the staff was friendly, and the location perfect as a starting point to explore the island. It would not be so great if you did not have transportation; however, there is a decent beach and "supermarket" within walking distance. This hotel is best for couples with an adventurous side.
If I would come back to Corfu, I would stay in Bella Venezia again, without hesitation. The location is perfect - in the heart of the old town (close to all shops and restaurants), but on a quie street. The building is beautiful and has a lot of character. My favorite was the beautiful garden where we had breakfast every day.
