The other suggestion is the logistics with breakfast, having some specific areas inside or outside for the enjoyment of it. I had only one mishap with breakfast at the...

"Loved our stay at Porto Fira Suites - excellent breakfast delivered to the room and wonderful staff. Even though the hotel is 85 steps down the walk down is not that bad. Majority of the steps are wide brick ones, not narrow slippery marble ones. If you are concerned about the steps, request a room on a high floor and you will avoid more steps within the hotel. View from our rooms was great even though we were just one level below reception."
