What a gem of a property and family that runs it. The hotel was well designed with modem architecture and details. The room was spacious and we even had our own rooftop deck overlooking the ocean. This hotel is situated in a beautiful area of the nature park very close to spectacular beaches and lots of possibilities to explore the nature, be it by foot or by bike. The staff is very friendly and service minded. We had a lovely dinner in the evening, served with detailed explanations. A really lovely experience.

The Boutique Hotel Olivar was exceptionally good! The hotel is small and very charming- each room has all essentials. Ours was room 5 with a lovely terrace overlooking the countryside and village-stunning! And the sunset can be enjoyed from the room. Everything was spotless clean, very quiet space with comfortable beds. We highly recommend this hotel! Alberto and his lovely wife went out of their way to provide breakfast when we needed to leave early. The experience here is more satisfying...
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. I made the mistake of thinking that the Parador would be in the old town but it's not, it's on the Playa de Mojacar (beach) about a 10 minute car ride away. But it worked out fine.

We loved this little boutique hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor with an ocean view & small terrace with seating for 2. Lovely sitting room & spacious clean bed & bath. Bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast in a plant filled garden.
Some street traffic noise could be difficult for light sleepers.

What a clean, comfortable, quiet boutique hotel on the sea, Staff was friendly and helpful. My limited Spanish was unnecessary as all spoke English. We spent two nights in January 2026. Off season travel is my favorite. I expect it will be a bit noisier in peak season
Very nice place; great breakfast buffet. But I was on the 6th floor and the number of stairs was too much. I wish I’d been on lower floor but no option was given.
