"This Hotel is a perfect place to be based on Lake Como. The hotel itself is perfect, I don’t think the four stars are enough. Clean, modern, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. The location right on the lake amazing views of the surrounding mountains and beautiful landscape. The breakfast is superb. Definitely recommend."

"Hotel Don Abbondio is 30 minutes walk from Lecco train station and the main tourist area of the town. It's in a quiet area with, mainly, local people. There is a large supermarket about 7 minutes walk away from the hotel. 3 minutes walk to the main road leads to a bus stop (2 Euros per person takes you to a bus stop at the back of the train station) and a takeaway food outlet. There's a restaurant next to the hotel. We didn't hire a car, so I can't comment about parking, but I think that parking...

"The hotel view was amazing, probably one of the best in Lecco. The rooms were clean and AC was good. However, there was a lot of rules we didn’t know about, for example we weren’t able to use any glasses or things from the kitchen, and the pool was only open between 10-12 and 16-20. Also, the hotel was very far up and the bus didn’t go that often, so the hotel is probably more suitable if you have a car."

"This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!"
