"We only spend one night in that hotel and we thought it was great. We ate in the restaurant and it was very good. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. A minor problem about the bathroom was that the blind could not be wound down, as the mechanism was broken, and although the window was opaque glass, with the light on we felt a little exposed. The location was great and we were given a free passes for the bus to Thun town centre which we did use. The breakfast was varied and...

"The rooms were small but very comfortable, quiet, with a spacious bathroom. Robes and slippers were provided and also a mini fridge. The room also had a small balcony with came in handy to sit out and feel the night air. The lake view is breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent! You don't want to miss it!. Also the staff was super friendly and most could communicate in English, but my French was pregood and got me through. I cant wait to come back with famand friends to show them this place...

"Petra made sure we had everything we needed. Room included wine, beer, snacks, fresh fruit and lovely breakfast each morning rolled in. View is amazing. We had private sauna and whirlpool bath. Much needed after all our hiking. If you can handle the steep, windy, narrow roads leading up to the village it’s all worth it!!"

"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "The room was very comfortable. Location was right across the street from express bus that took you to train station in 5 minutes. Hotel is a short walk from a lovely wooded park and Lake Thun. Hotel is about a half hour walk from the city center if you walk thru the park and along the lake. "

"Lesson learned - Don't book a stay with a property that doesn't have a single person on-site or on-call to help. By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key.
