"The room was nice and large with a comfortable king size bed. It was in a lovely position. Most of the staff were friendly. The food was fine and not expensive. The breakfast sausages were good."

"Booked just for one night so apart from sleeping there we really only experienced the breakfast. Must say this was excellent with good quality ingredients and quick service. But disappointed that we were unable to get a snack in the afternoon as the chefs had left and not back until dinner prep. Room and bathroom was very clean. Parts of the hotel were well worn particularly stair carpet"

"We had a lovely two-night stay at this beautiful hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel has been decorated so beautifully, and the new owners have done an amazing job creating such a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and beautifully presented, and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful too. We also enjoyed the food, but the breakfast was definitely a highlight it was absolutely amazing! You can really see the care and effort that has gone into making this hotel special. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. We look forward to returning!"

"This is an absolutely charming inn attached to a pub and restaurant. The room is cozy and updated. The restaurant food is local, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Sunday roast was just delicious. You’re in the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a number of beautiful walks/hikes right outside the door."
