I had the best pork schnitzel of my trip at the restaurant so I highly recommend if you eat at the restaurant to get it. My wife got the goulash and it was fantastic. "I would certainly recommend the Maximilian hotel to anyone visiting Innsbruck. The location of the hotel is perfect with only a walk round the corner for tram and bus stops and two minutes the other way takes you to the Old Town. Staff at reception were excellent and when we asked for a kettle in the room they obliged straight away they couldn’t do enough for us. "Great hotel in a fabulous location right in the heart of old town Innsbruck. Close to the station and only 15 mins in a cab to the airport . Lovely cocktail bar and truly amazing breakfast !! The front desk , bar tender and the breakfast staff were all really friendly and helpful . Would definitely stay there again . "

"The apartment was very spacious and in an excellent location right in the centre of the Altstadt. The only minor issue is that it can be a little noisy in the evenings and again first thing in the morning when the beer delivery trucks arrive. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was very nice and the kitchen was well equipped. Our family of 4 had a very comfortable stay."

"What a fabulous, family-run hotel, in a brilliant location. I had a great few days skiing and using the spa. The food was excellent and the room very comfortable, but the highlight was the personal approach of the amazing team, led by Christina, who made sure to know her guests and understand their needs perfectly. There's so much to do and you're made incredibly warmly welcome. Look forward to trying the Michelin-starred restaurant on my next visit!"

"This was a beautiful hotel in a very beautiful area! Everyone at the hotel was so nice especially Phillip and his wife! They got ski passes ahead of time for us so we could Ski at the glacier! It was easy to get our skis that we rented from the shop next door! We had a wonderful stay!!! Thank you to the wonderful staff ! Sincerely, The Hammonds"

"Lots of attractions for kids, rooms a bit small, but ok. Staff very friendly. Close to mountains and next to cable car 🚡. Lots of free parking spaces. Hotel offers free access to local transport links like busses or trains to Innsbruck, so you can leave the car in the hotel and travel by train to Innsbruck. Inside the hotel there's also train tunnel museum which is interesting and free. Food was quite nice too. Would recommend. "

"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"
