The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. "The Hotel Manoir de Mathan was really nice we had a ground floor room which was huge it had every thing you needed even a kettle, the furnishing was to a high level the owner was a lovely lady, really friendly and helpful, and suggested a very nice restaurant which didn't disappoint breakfast was very nice, we only had a continental breakfast, definitely go back "
