We loved that the hot spring water was piped into a tub in our bathroom for our own private soak. "Wonderful hotel for enjoying the Beitou hot sulphur springs experience. Modern Japanese style rooms have views overlooking Beitou Park. Hotel hot pools were elegant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Included breakfast tasty. Short 5 minute walk to Thermal Valley, Hot Springs Museum, and Beitou Library. Best part is the large sulphur spring bath in each room."

"We chose the Greatt Hotel for its location - 1 block from the Shilin Night Market (one of the best in Asia) and close to the Shilin train station - straight shot to CKS Memorial and convenient 15-minute bus to National Palace Museum. It is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was great. Reception was very nice and useful but did not speak English - the use of Google Translate solved all problems. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"Good hotel in the suburbs of Taipei. The area is not touristic but if you want to see the real Taiwan is a nice place to stay. Metro station is just 2min away and you find plenty of places to eat. The hotel is super clean, rooms are very good size and bed is comfortable. The area is very quiet so you will have a good sleep. The staff of polite and ok. Taking the metro will take you very quick to the main attractions "

The room was equipped with the drinking water, tea/instant coffee, bathroom essentials and disposable slippers. My suggestion for improvement was about the floor carpet of which was old and stained. "The property is not at downtown Taipei but the free breakfast, free snacks, friendly services as well as the hot tub made up for the differences. Also most staff do not speak good English but good enough to get by. "

"This is an amazing hotel - room was great, clean and functional. Loved the small touches - free water, coffee, robes, etc). The washer/dryer was awesome (although it took quite a while to dry the clothes). Location was amazing - MRT across the street and views of the Grand Hotel within walking distance. There is a pool and gym but I did not use them. I would stay here again on my next trip."
