"This property is in an excellent location opposite the harbour with amazing views. The room was a good size and warm considering the freezing weather. It seemed to be recently decorated with a modern bathroom. Lots of wardrobe space and a king size bed. However, there were some issues in the room including a very scaly kettle, only 2 teabags, 1 shower gel, no glasses, no bathmat, flat batteries in tv remote, and only half a loo roll. "Old building but still grand. Nice and quiet, good nights sleep. Convenient for the centre of scarbrough. Pleasant staff."

"Some areas could do with a little TLC (ie paint finishes and stains) but beyond that, it was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was great and good prices. The hotel was quiet, even with a bar downstairs. I stayed with my granddaughter on the 3rd floor. Twin room small but adequate. Easy walk to train station and down to South Bay. We will be going again! "

"Lovely little hotel, very central to town. We chose the hotel as we were there for a festival at the Spa, it is just a few minutes away from Scarborough Spa. The staff are friendly and very kind. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around, and it's just a short stroll to the beach. The hotel also provides earplugs as the seagulls can get rather loud. "

"Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. As we were blessed with good weather we didn’t use the lounge but it would have been a pleasant place to have spent a...
