"Oh how lovely to be in a creative environment and enjoy the lovely pottery pieces all over the property. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too. There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue. We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town."

"Fernwood Manor is wonderful. Clean, well decorated, quiet, and well heated/cooled. Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast is prepared for you. Best of all, it is a short walk from one of the best, if not the best, botanical garden, Kirstenbosch. August and September are months with amazing blooms."
