"The property is good for the price, a cheap option - the door codes and keys were simple to use once i got the codes from the owner. its a bit out of the way - not much around the area - other than the DLR station at Star Lane. Would recommend if your on a budget. "

"It’s absolutely no frills but for a solo traveler who’s often in London, that’s completely fine. The proximity to the tube is pretty good, and I loved the easy access to the DLR."

"I was extremely surprised. This was a hidden gem! I was surprised it was equipped with all amenities; kettle, toaster, microwave, dining seating as well as a 2-ring stove. A really lovely accommodation, we were taken aback. The property owner was lovely, pleasant and friendly, he really took the time to show us where everything was. We will most definitely be staying here again in the future."

"Just had the most amazing stay at city view. Everyone was very friendly. It was quite lively at times. The shower was hot, the beds were comfy the TV worked. "Nice hotel situated on top of a classic British pub. No noise was heard from the pub. Great personal service. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast. Simple rooms but with all you need including a tea kettle. The building is old but the hotel personnel makes up for this, friendly and attentive. Good location to Forest Gate station with restaurants and stores. "
