"Was met with a big smile, an offer for a coffee, and very easy check-in which was welcome after hiking and finishing in the rain. It is wonderfully situated if you love small towns, mountains and lakes. The breakfast right before I checked out was really good and energized me for another hike in Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. "My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!"
