My stay at Hotel Berg was nothing short of exceptional. Without a doubt, it is one of the finest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of visiting.
From the moment you arrive, the hotel impresses with its superior standard – stylish yet cozy interiors, high-quality furnishings, and an impeccable attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable – perfect for both business travelers and tourists alike.
What truly sets...
We were in room 1 - it was very large. Two sofas three bedrooms three bathrooms and a large kitchen. The warm air hit us as we walked in the door - very nice. No awful sprays or other bad odors. It was just what we needed including a washing machine to clean the baby clothes. I recommend staying here. It is a very practical and comfortable place. Papa’s pizzas and fish and chips is near and has good food. Other sights are close by and not busy.
Elli and Runa were amazing. Before our arrival. They already checked to see when we will arrive to prepare the place. Since we were arriving early. They graciously took in our luggages so we can go to the lagoons and enjoy the day without having to have our car full of luggages.
The place was exceptionally clean with all kinds of goodies. Very close to the airport within 5 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely book with them again if we return to Iceland.
The Konvin hotel was a lovely place to stay on our long layover in Iceland. The staff was always kind and helpful and the early shuttle to the airport was a great plus. The beds were comfortable and the rooms nice and clean. It was the perfect place for us and we would stay here again.
The apartment was spectacular and exactly as advertised. Location was very handy to the airport and Keflavik but quiet enough to feel remote. A fantastic place to watch the Northern Lights over Faxaflói Bay from a hot tub.
This was one of the most pleasurable stays I've had in recent years. The hotel is close to the airport (short shuttle or rental car drive of about 1 mile / 2km).
Blue Lagoon is an easy shuttle or rental car drive away. There is a lighthouse and a golf course within 20 minutes.
Reykjavik is not more than 40 minutes away.
And, the Ring Road is easily accessible in either direction.

Located in a quiet little town, but still nearby everything you want to do on Iceland’s SE side. The owner is a great person with a very warm heart, and also a very talented artist. The breakfast was just what we needed to save a little cash in one of the most expensive places We’ve ever been. Not a lot of services in the town, but if you want a relaxing stay...I had it droves!
This was a really nice place. There are 8 cabins with comfortable beds, a heater a short wooden path to some large bathrooms and really nice kitchen/common area. I took advantage of the public pool down the street for my last night in Iceland. You won't want to miss the lighthouse at sunset either. Such a great ending to an amazing vacation!
Highly recommend MicroSuites in Keflavik. Easily accessible, 8 minutes from the airport. Check-in is super easy. Walking distance to several restaurants. Quiet. Loved the heated bathroom floor and the beds were comfortable. Also appreciated the light breakfast and snacks in the room.
