"Lovely hotel in vibrant Ikebukuru. Just 5-10 minute walk from the Sunshine City mall which has an aquarium, cinema and great shopping. The free skincare and convenience items at reception was fantastic! Comfy, small rooms but with everything that you need and you can borrow an iron, portable fan, umbrella and a cool pillow (which you need in the incredible summer heat)."

"The Hotel Bellclassic foyer looks very classy, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Checking in went smoothly. The hotel is located within walking distance of Otsuka station where you can catch the Yamanote line, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was surprisingly spacious. However the room did feel a little dated and it showed with various stains in the carpet and curtains. It was also a little dusty in certain places. Overall our stay was good but I think the room...

"Perfect location if you want to stay in a residential area - it’s close enough to the station of Ostuka (30 ish min from shibuya) and quiet all day long. There are restaurants and stores, and everything you might need. Staff is available and friendly if you need anything 24/7, I had the best time! It’s honestly amazing for the price. Will definitely come back when in Tokyo."

"This is a nice hotel that suited my needs perfectly as a single tourist who didn’t spend an excessive amount of time on the room. The rooms are relatively small by US standards but large enough that it was comfortable. The water flow to the shower was amazing. Almost felt like a fire hose. 😀 The staff was very helpful and friendly. My one complaint is that the housekeeping staff often left their supplies in the hallway nearly blocking the path to the elevator. I would stay again."

"A good place to stay for short term. The location was good and quiet in Ikebukuro. The room was big and clean with big bathroom. However, the fire alarm went off a few times in the night and there's only 2 hangers. Overall good for short term stays only."

"The room was nice. The stairs up to the 2nd and 3rd floors are tight, taking suitcases up and down them feels precarious given how narrow the staircase is and how small some of the steps are. Be aware that the property is very close to a highway, so the noises from it are audible all through the night. Host was very responsive and made check in and check out very easy."
