"This is a quaint hotel within walking distance of many nice restaurants in the area. The staff was polite. It was a little hard to find because there is no sign out front. It's a few doors down from the huge restaurant on the corner."

"The staff was amazing and very accommodating. This is one of my favorites places to stay when I go to D.R. I love that there is a supermarket at the end of the block. The neighborhood is quiet and the area is close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. I did not have a car on this trip but the parking is a little bit tight if you have a large vehicle. Overall I highly recommend this place. "

"Stayed at Hotel Casa Aluge in Zona Colonial and had a great experience. The location is perfect — you can walk to restaurants, historic sites, and cafés within minutes. The rooms need an upgrade, but are clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which is a big plus in Santo Domingo. Breakfast was included and very fresh each morning — simple but delicious and homemade-style. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming and personal. Would definitely recommend for travelers...
